The Federal Trade Commisssion has issued specific guidelines which consumers can use to determine if a sweepstakes offer received via the US Mail is a scam. Which begs the question: why would the US Postal Service deliver, via a first class mail bulk permit, a sweepstakes offer which clearly violates the FTC guidelines?
And yet they do, I got one yesterday.
An executive order from the President could immediately stop this questionable practice.
