Prevent Vogue Editor Anna Wintour from becoming Ambassador to an Important U.S. Ally

Created by A.M. on December 04, 2012

According to several news organizations, President Obama is considering Vogue editor Anna Wintour, a top campaign donor, for a U.S. ambassadorship, possibly to Britain or France. Such a position would be better suited to a person who has a firm grasp of foreign and security policy and a long history of working in government/diplomacy rather than a woman who is most famous for inspiring the movie "The Devil Wears Prada". A person may have friends in high places, speak with a British accent, and donate a lot of money to your campaign, but that does not qualify them to deal with international crises.
