Every time one wishes to electronically sign a petition on this "We the People" White House website they are required to resubmit their information, which the site already has stored in your registration information. Then one must "verify" their signature by clicking on an email link sent to the email address that has already been verified.
It is not only redundant and time consuming to have to do this each time you sign a petition, but it is also obnoxious. Like everything else the government does the process is overly complex and places undue burden on the people.
We ask that the White House fix this system as soon as possible.
