Their is a law that allows the Veterans administration to take all or part a veterans disability to pay a debit they occured when they were in service. The law also forbids the veterans administration to make payment arrangement on the debit if the disability is the only source of income for the veterans and the family. As result of this The veterans administration can take all the money resulting in a hardship for the veterans that could result in the veterans becoming homeless. This petition is asking for the law to be change to prevent this only when the veterans only source of income is the disability and or to allow for a payment arrangement..
