In light of today's devastating actions in Connecticut and in honor of the innocent children who lost their lives I believe that schools should have mandatory metal detectors upon entry.
This option would allow our children, the leaders of tomorrow, to be safe and if we want them to be able to be successful in life we have to provide them a safe haven to learn.
We owe our kids the chance to learn in a safe environment and unless there is a more efficient way to prevent anymore schools from a travesty like there was in Connecticut, I think 'We The People' deserve to feel secure letting our children go to school and more importantly our children deserve to feel safe going to school.
Our kids deserve us to stand up for them and to try the best we can to be proactive on this.
