Privatization of prisons has created corruption in justice and judicial systems throughout this great nation. The very people that enforce and interpret the law have a vested interest in keeping the prisons occupied. People are being viewed as livestock. In any other business, this would be viewed as a conflict of interest and would not be allowed. This is a national epidemic and requires a national response. We the brave people of this free and proud nation need to speak up and tell our elected officials who have the great privilege to represent us to take on their responsibility to represent the people and protect our interest and most of all freedom: present an executive order banning privatization of prisons. This is modern day slavery, and apathy is just as harmful as transgressions.
