Completely privatizing or cutting back the USPS to allow only for overseas postage would create jobs in the civilian sector and eliminate unneeded spending within the government. If companies such as FedEx and UPS could receive a fraction of the USPS's budget as federal grants, this would in turn allow unemployed Americans to receive jobs, and would add more security amongst Americans that their mail would be received and shipped in a timely manner, and without government intervention.
