The United States Postal Service is currently on the verge of collapse. Postage prices are on the rise, revenue is on a decline, Saturday delivery is set to end, thousands of post offices are closing, and customer service at many locations are at their worst. At the same time, private companies in the same market thrive as world-class competitors providing high-quality service with relatively high customer satisfaction rates.
