We the people ask the federal government to Tell us what the federal government is doing about an issue:

Process the locality adjustments proposed by the Federal Salary Council for 2016 for the 12new localites.

Created by L.K. on August 04, 2016

In 2015 the Federal Salary Council recommend 12 new locality areas. The Federal Register notice of the changes notes: “Establishing 13 new locality pay areas will impact about 102,000 GS employees. Implementing the 13 new locality pay areas will not automatically change locality pay rates now applicable in those areas because locality pay percentages are established by Executive order….” President Obama did not follow the recommendations proposed by the Federal Salary Council. If President Obama was to follow the recommendations by issuing an Executive Order, it would dramatically help over 100,000 federal employees, their families, and their communities.
