In an effort to unify the American people, the proclamation of a national language is important. Because a people divided by language will always be divided in understanding as well, it is necessary to have one language that all people of a nation speak so as to be able to communicate ideas, thoughts, and grievances effectively to all others in that nation.
To this end we need to proclaim English the national language of our country.
