32 of 44 United States presidents have proclaimed a Day of Prayer (and even Day of Fasting) during a term as president, sometimes even during a certain time of distress in the country. I feel that this country could be drifting away and request a National Day of Prayer (apart from a proclamation of Thanksgiving) to ask God to heal our land. We should recognize that not one human can fix a country; let’s get back to prayer. It worked before, it will work again.
