Whether shanghai is a Northern city or a Southern city has long been in dispute. Although geographically defined as a city in the southern part of China, Shanghai is actually a Northern city in the minds of most Chinese "Big southerners" (Wo Da Nan Fang Ren), and most Shanghaiese do live on garlic as their main daily food and nutritional source. Some such as Mr. Zhou (LiBo Zhou), even accompany the garlic with latte coffee. Therefore, we, as BIG southerners, petition US government to advocate the theory of Utilitarianism and create the greatest happiness for the greatest number of people by proclaiming Shanghai as a northern Chinese city.
The most concrete, compelling, and irrefutable evidence : Tofu Nao in Shanghai is salty rather than sweet!
