As we commemorate the 20th anniversary of this dark chapter of humanity, it is only befitting that our President proclaims April 7, 2014 a day of remembrance in solidarity with the survivors of last genocide of TUTSI of the 20th century. A genocide that took place in plain view for all to see and yet the world failed to act; as a result, over a million people were slaughtered in just 3 months a time.
Let's remember the past for the sake of the future.
