As the Obama Administration has rightly asserted, the United States government has rejected the development of a Death Star, as no government should be able to destroy an entire planet, especially not Alderaan.
We respectfully request the administration consider the development of a vessel synologous to the Millenium Falcon. Being not only the fastest ship in the Galaxy, but magically capable of eluding and evading the minions of the Emporer & Darth Vader's Empire, we feel that just the accompanying advances in stealth technology would be well worth the investment. Sublight technologies -- mixed cycle propulsion appropriate to sublight speeds within or without planetary atmospheres, advanced weapons capable of taking on a TIE fighter squadron -- as well as Hyperspace drive.
