A simple document is needed to help law-abiding citizens understand how to deal with the police. You only have to look at the internet to find hundreds of poor examples on how to deal with interaction between the police and law-abiding citizens. It is apparent that there good police and good citizens who make errors is these daily interactions. A simple pamphlet coordinated in advance with the states and human rights organizations would give each side a clear guide to follow and reduce friction. Those with police authority have the tables tipped in their direction. They can just say someone did something and off you go to jail in good or poor condition. Later, when no charges are filed the citizens has very little recourse to address a false accusation. This document would help.
