Prohibit all law enforcement and government agencies from displaying "In God We Trust" on their vehicles.

Created by K.Z. on January 17, 2016

Law enforcement agencies have begun an increasing trend of displaying "In God We Trust" on their vehicles. This is a direct violation of the ruling in the court case Everson v. Board of Education:

Neither a state nor the Federal Government can, openly or secretly, participate in the affairs of any religious organizations or groups, and vice versa. In the words of Jefferson, the clause against establishment of religion by law was intended to erect "a wall of separation between church and State." Reynolds v. United States, supra, at 164.

It's time for us to stand up and keep the government religiously neutral by not promoting one religion or another as intended by our Constitution and has been ruled time and time again by the courts.
