In the belief that all corporations are similar (in that they are not citizens and may not vote), the idea would be to ban all corporations from donating to elected officials. Make it simple: bar any type of organization that may feel compelled to contribute: A corporations may be foreign or domestic in charter. It may be public or private. It may be profit seeking, or non-profit. Ultimately, corporate money, no matter the source or type of corporate structure, has shown to be corrupting and should be limited in scope. Elected officials can get contributions directly from citizens that work for corporations, but NOT from any type of organization that is ultimately not a voter. (No direct campaign contribution from a charity, non-profit, or for profit company). Make it simple
