Automobile and Truck drivers are paying inflated prices for both gasoline and diesel fuel. Currently, chemical(s) are added to both gasoline and diesel to create a rise in temperature. An increase in temperature causes fuel to expand and flow at a decrease in volume density.
Gasoline and diesel "at the pump",is measured by volume, in gallons. And we pay by volume, in dollars. i.e. dollars per gallon of flow. Because fuel is now being artifically expanded, it takes more volume of fuel to go from point A to point B than if fuel was left in its normal state. 33 degrees farhenheit is the ideal temperature for gasoline and diesel to flow: That is, the cooler the flow, the more dense fuel becomes. The more dense the fuel, the more miles per gallon we get. Stop hot fuel.
