Prohibit Biotech Companies from operating anywhere in the U.S. and create a law requiring GMO and Pesticide Disclosure

Basic human needs include safe food and water, and peace of mind concerning our health; WE THE PEOPLE should have a right to choose our foods based on accurate information as to whether or not they are genetically modified or poisoned with pesticides. Not to feel terrorized by the food industry and biotech companies every time we walk into a grocery store; worrying whether or not the food we buy will make us ill, while the rest of the world continues to ban GMOs and pesticides. Hawaii just passed two bills - 113 and 2491 allowing the protection of their land and natural resources as well as the disclosure of GMOs and pesticides. We have the basic human right to the same protections. The U.S. should be a leader in passing such bills. Our resources are just as precious.
