We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Prohibit the carriage of ammunition in checked baggage on Commercial airliners

Created by M.K. on January 08, 2017

Under current laws airline passengers are allowed to carry both firearms and ammunition in their checked baggage.

Because of the recent shootings at the Hollywood-Ft Lauderdale Airport by an apparently mentally deranged individual, that legally checked both a firearm and ammunition in his checked baggage, subsequently recovered his bag at baggage claim, went to the restroom, assembled his handgun and proceeded on a shooting spree that killed several individuals and injured several more we propose that IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY action be taken on this matter.

In order to protect the flying public, while protecting the rights to carry and transport firearms we propose an IMMEDIATE prohibition on the carriage of AMMUNITION in checked baggage.
