Application essays require endless amounts of time from high school seniors who are applying to college. A student who is applying to multiple universities often has many essays to write and not enough time to complete them. Students also have to worry about their grades and other academic endeavors. Eliminating this requirement gives students more time to focus on their schoolwork and in turn gives them a better chance of getting into the colleges they are applying to.
