The reason for the growing disparity between wealthy and poor is simple, the politicians are beholden to the ones that pay them money.
The goal of this proposal is simple, to GIVE BACK democratic power to the people by disallowing political contributions by corporations, lobbyists or special interest groups or PAC:
1. Any elected official and or their appointees.
2. Any political party.
And also, to protect an individual's voice in democracy.
3. Limit political contributions to $30,000 per person per year.
Money for elections and or bills should NOT come from special interest groups, lobbyists or corporations. It should come directly from individuals.
The sooner corporations and interest groups lose power in Washington, the sooner we'll see a government for the people
