Prohibit the degrading use of an arrested person's "mug-shot" from appearing on the internet after their case is over

With this petition, we will hopefully eliminate the unethical and unfair usage of an arrested persons "mug-shot" from appearing on the internet. However, this petition will only apply to first-time arrestees charged with misdemeanors and , whom were found not-guilty or had the charges dropped. This discriminatory and unwarranted act causes the subject much humiliation and embarrassment. It can also negatively affect the person's job and or job search. It is unjust to allow this prejudice to continue because the person had the charges dropped or was found not guilty in our great nation's court system. Nobody is perfect and getting arrested for a petty offense should not haunt the person for the rest of their lives.
