This petition seeks to prohibit the killing of US citizens without due process.
The Bill of Rights protects American citizens. The drone strike program may violate the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. By allowing deadly force to be used against citizens and noncombatants in the US without due process, arrest, judicial input, or congressional authorization, President Obama is not upholding the Constitution. His powers must be kept at bay. Already, the drone strikes program has a proven record of killing civilians overseas. Indeed, the data varies in terms of how many have died; however few civilian deaths have actually taken place abroad due to drone strikes, killing even one civilian is immoral. We the people cannot allow these atrocities take place on American soil.
