Need as many signatures as possible to show that we OPPOSE any and all initiatives that seek to arm teachers in school classrooms. The last thing we need is more guns potentially within reach of kids and teenagers in every classroom.
We want our schools to be safe and weapons-free. There are other safer alternatives which do not create the same risk as putting weapons in the hands of every teacher in all classrooms. If we seek to add security personnel or armed personnel in our schools, we should look to add personnel with law enforcement and/or military training and background, not teachers.
In the State of Oklahoma there are certain politicians who intend to pass legislation to arm our teachers. Please help us OPPOSE and BLOCK passage of any such legislation.
