Prohibit the intentional and malicious destruction of honey bees by use of harmful pesticides or other means.

Created by K.D. on May 09, 2013

With honey bee populations in decline it is vitally important to make efforts to save honey bees. Creating an act that protects the honey bee from intentional and malicious extermination by use of pesticides or other means would help in improving on honey bee populations.
Excluding scientific studies and necessary elimination of diseased colonies, this act should include the protection of honey bee colonies and swarms from house hold pesticides, exterminators, agricultural pesticides, and intentional malicious acts. This act would require the use of a beekeeper to come remove any honey bee colony or swarm and relocation to an apiary.
Other countries have enforced acts to protect the honey bee and have seen positive results in populations.
