Prohibit law enforcement use of unmanned aerial surveillance systems within all US borders, lands, and waters.

Created by R.P. on March 07, 2013

As the United States Government seeks ever-new methods of tracking and eliminating criminal or terrorist threats, the deployment and use of unmanned aerial surveillance and weapons platforms (AKA: Drones) has been increasing almost exponentially.

With recent government and public comments regarding the potential law enforcement use of Drones to both surveil and eliminate a criminal threat within US borders, the risk of violation of constitutional and basic human rights is high.

To protect American citizens from further government encroachment, and even direct violation, of guaranteed rights, I propose the President, through Executive Order, ban the use of drones/UAV's for surveillance or weapons engagement within all US territories, lands, protectorates, states, waters, & conveyances.
