It is sick how the media has been broadcasting the recent killer's (the one from Santa Barbara) YouTube videos and "manifestos". All this has done is taken the killer's obscure opinions and gave them a nationwide platform. For what? For "analysis?" As a "study in human psychology?" NO! To get more ratings.
This sort of exposure gives these killers validation, and shows them that they can indeed get their 15 minutes of fame by killing people. There's already mass shootings every other month in this country, providing media exposure for the killers' views is not going to help things.
The media is out of control, it's about time that government regulates who gets on TV (including reality shows).
