Whereas, Cannabis, or hemp, has been grown in the U.S. since the days of George Washington; and,

Whereas, California, Oregan and other states have passed laws to add cannabis to that list of recreational or medical use; and,

Whereas, PHA's are evecting low income residents to make room for the working poor; and,

Whereas, PHA's are evecting or requesting parents to remove their child from their home to stay in public housing; and,

Whereas, single mothers in low income communities must remove a child who smoked marajuana or become homeless; and,

Whereas, single low income mothers don't have resources to move nor provide assistance to her child; and,

Whereas, this practice increases homelessness, seperates a mother from child and divides families;

WE, the signed, request prompt action.
