Prohibit Policemen from arresting people off of an accuser's words without any other evidence.

Created by J.T. on April 30, 2014

Each individual have the right to defend themselves. However, when you do not allow the person who is being accused of a crime to defend himself or herself, than their constitutional rights is being violated. Also, everyone deserves to be heard, and their story to be checked out. This investigation starts with the Policemen. If he do not give the person who is being accused the right to have his story investigated, and he locks him or her up just on the words of the accuser without anything else connecting the person to the crime, this is wrong and violates that person's rights. I firmly want this to be stopped, because that person has to stay in jail until the court date, which could be in fact a year or more, when you consider all the postponements the states attorney make. Change it.
