Over the course of the 2016 presidential campaign, President-Elect Donald Trump took to Twitter to communicate with a global audience. Now that he has won the election, Mr. Trump has used Twitter as a platform to target individual American citizens and corporations with personal attacks. Mr. Trump has also tweeted inappropriately, attempting to conduct international relations using a platform that is wholly inappropriate. Any and all communications and negotiations between the United States and foreign governments should be conducted appropriately and professionally.
This petition calls for the removal of the President of the United States' ability to use social media, especially in the unprofessional manner that President-Elect Trump has consistently engaged in.
