Prohibit production of movies, film, or video games, for theaters, DVD or the internet, that show banned assault weapons

Created by M.H. on January 27, 2013

The production, manufacture, sale, importation or transfer of movies, films, video, video games or any visual form of entertainment that shows civilian use of state banned, or proposed federal ban assault weapons should be prohibited. Only products that depict uniformed military or identified law enforcement personnel should be allowed to show the legal use of assault weapons. For 1st amendment purposes, there are 2,258 other weapons to use in new productions, according to the "Assault Weapons Ban of 2013," by Senator Feinstein. There is a known correlation between visual entertainment products and criminal violence.
