The publication of the suspects name and story including prior to and after an act of violence does not require naming that suspect . Take the celebrity status and public recognition away from people who commit evil. Make publishing their likeness illegal. People who would commit these crimes should not be rewarded with a place in history or in our memories.
If the suspect is in custody or deceased there should be no publication of their identity or any alias / nickname used or any representation of their face
If the suspect is at large publish only the information which will assist in their capture without glorifying the crime
No details of the crime should be released beyond what the crime is ,without descriptive commentary
After capture reports of the crime should be independent
