Prohibit the relatives of federally-elected office holders from running for federally-elected office

Created by M.H. on December 13, 2014

In the past 20 years, we have had 2 Bushes a Clinton in the White House, and now this coming election we may yet now have another.

The US declared independence over 200 years ago in part to get rid of a dynasty having a monopoly on power, and now we are threatened with more. Out of the millions of people in our country, it is hard to believe that a hand full of political dynasties are consistently presented as the most fit to govern.

We would like you to use your influence in congress to pass a law which prohibits any relative of a past or present elected federal official, related directly or indirectly to the 3rd degree, or related by marriage from running for federally elected office.
