Prohibit the release of criminal information to the public - Preventative measures for future mass murders.

Gun reform is an important issue, with valid arguments for both sides, but it is not the focuse of this petition. In the recent shooting that occured at Sandy Hook Elementary, the name Adam Lanza almost instantly became a household name. This kinda of infamy creates an incentive for others to follow suit, to have their name plastered on everyones TV screen on the six o'clock news. That is why I petition for law encorcement to only be legally able to release a criminals gender to the public - not race, age, religion, group, or any other information. This is not encroaching upon our First Amendment rights, as the information would not be released in the first place. Consider all the lives it might save, and give a signature.
