Prohibiting the sale of cold beer would save energy at the stores because the beer cooers would not be needed. There would also be a benefit of not haing a cold beer in the car as soon as its bought.
Take the beer home to chill it, then drink.
Advantages are energy savings and reduction in drinking and driving.
Nothing is intended to sto beer from being chilled at home. Just don't let it out the store cold.
