Prohibit spending tax dollars on public ads designed to encourage enrollment in the Affordable Healthcare Act

Created by B.S. on March 25, 2014

Currently, there are thousands of advertisements begging individuals to sign up for health insurance via Healthcare.gov. For citizens of California, they pertain to Coveredca.com.

These advertisements (TV, radio, billboard) are being paid for by our tax dollars, and being used to sell a public program similar to Social Security or Medicare, of which neither are advertised.

Whether you agree or disagree with the Affordable HealthCare Act, it should be illegal for the government to use tax dollars to advertise for entitlement programs and influence the decisions of the American people in hopes of supporting a political agenda.

Please sign this petition to prohibit the use of tax dollars on paid advertising for government funded entitlement programs
