Idaho senate bill 1337 has recently been signed by Governor Otter. In the bill "interference
with agricultural production" or undercover animal abuse investigations have been criminalized with up to one year prison term and/or up to a 5000 dollar penalty. Several other states have the same legislation already passed.
Citizens have a right to have transparency in the production of food that is sold in our country. It is a travesty that we are making it more difficult to expose those that do harm to animals and and instead giving them more protection from the cruelty that they inflict.
