- Intelligent Design and Creationism belong solely in courses such as "comparative religion" & "political culture", Not Biology. ID is not science but a "Trojan horse" for sneaking religion into the class room.
-Fundamentalist colleges continue to receive millions of dollars in federal student in aid. Tax payers should not be required to subsidize the teaching of religion.
- Teaching Creationism/Intelligent Design to children disguised as science is a form of child abuse which severely disadvantages children in the 21st century global economy which requires sound scientific knowledge.
Therefore we petition Congress and the President to prohibit the teaching of Creationism/ID in all schools and colleges receiving federal funds and federal student aid
