Toronto Mayor Robert Ford has been convicted in Florida for driving under the influence and charged for possession of narcotics. He is an admitted drug user (marijuana and crack cocaine) and alcoholic, keeps the company of known criminals and is currently under police investigation. Common persons would be prohibited from entering the United States under these circumstances, and special privileges such not be granted in his situation. We should not encourage or approve such behavior, nor allow him any benefit to enable the advancement of his personal or political agenda. Criminals must not be allowed to freely and openly cross our borders.
