Data caps place restrictions on what business, and customers can do with services they buy. They claim that caps have a few purposes, control congestion, limit illegal torrenting, etc., and that people should pay for what they use. I disagree with most of those because congestion is not necessarily totally determined by how many people are on and how much they use, but also timing, and that can have large effects. People may do stuff they shouldn't no matter what, and leave that to other parties concerned with the issue. People should pay for what they use doesn't make allot of since because the equipment running costs the same to the provider no matter what. Providers should have to upgrade equipment just like every other business does. Also look for new ways to innovate better services.
