Prohibit the use of lead ammunition by hunters in order to prevent the lead poisoning of bald eagles and other wildlife.

Created by L.F. on November 20, 2014

Over 50% of bald eagles found dead and brought into the Washington State Wildlife Center had traces of lead in their system. 21% of the eagles found dead along the Mississippi River died of lead poisoning. Eagles are diminishing and if nothing is done the symbol of our nation's freedom will become nonexistent. Copper bullets are much more accurate, are completely nontoxic, and do more damage to the animal.
