Prohibit the use of sirens, tire screeching, and car accident sound effects in radio ads in order to prevent accidents.

Created by S.R. on January 23, 2016

Countless advertisements exist on radio that make use of dangerous sound effects! These sounds include emergency sirens, auto accident crashes, tire screeching and other sounds that can cause a motorist to respond inappropriately as if they were real. They are only used to get the attention of the listener but they have the potential for causing harm. There is no need to make use of these sounds and as such they should be banned. Their use is just like yelling "Fire" in a crowded theater. If profanity can be regulated on the airwaves so should dangerous sounds.
