Prohibit Voting by Those Receiving Public Assistance

It is our belief that individuals who derive their financial existence from public assistance should not be allowed to vote in public elections.
The working person is providing the funding through taxation to support the non working public, and as such, should not share in the privilege of electing the officials that represent us.
Individuals that receive entitlement benefits such as public housing, food stamps, medical care, money, free phones, or any other form of public assistance, without the benefit of subsidizing themselves through employment, will cast a biased vote and not vote for what is in the best interest of the nation.
Exempt from this would be those who are retired, those who have demonstrated the inability to work and those that are under employed.
