promote the adoption of secure single sign-on technology for online identity protections and better user experience

Created by J.N. on July 31, 2013

The Internet is a maze of individual users names and passwords that do little to protect personal information and nothing at all to provide direct control over online identity across a wide range of websites and services. Secure single sign-on technologies exist that provide for better consumer experiences by eliminating the need to remember every user name and password you have used, while providing proven secure identity and authentication benefits for service providers and consumers alike.

We petition the government to promote the adoption of secure single sign-on technology and 3rd party authentication services to businesses and consumers alike as a foundation for secure 21st century commerce and online security initiatives.
