The government and DEA claims that marijuana is detrimental to one's health, and despite the recent studies suggesting otherwise, the government still discourages health studies on the plant. There is most definitely a lack of government-accepted studies on how safe marijuana truly is. It has not been tested and experimented in a fair and thorough manner in the US because the federal government wont accept studies done regarding the safety of the drug, only regarding the abuse and detrimental factors of it.
We the people petition the government to promote and allow extensive studies on the substance in order to get a 100% accurate representation of how dangerous the plant really is so the government can reform laws regarding it accordingly.
