I understand that the woman portrayed as "Maya" in the film "Zero Dark Thirty" was NOT promoted at the CIA, since she would tell people that they were wrong. As the actress who portrayed Maya said on the John Stewart's "Daily Show": If you don't get promoted for finding and getting Osama bin Laden killed, then what does it take?
Clearly, this woman (whose name I do not know) deserves both a medal (of course anonymously, as her life would be endangered) and a promotion for her incredible work. She also should get the $25million reward the USA offered to people who got Osama (UBL) dead or alive.
Our government needs more people like her, who will sacrifice 10 years of their lives, and mockery, and persevere so as to save the lives of who-knows-how-many Americans here and abroad.
