To promote and support legislation protecting citizens' rights to opt out of any information selling, renting, sharing.

Protect buyers' contact info given to any merchant.
Everyone is selling our info! We do not want this!
Give customers the option to state, in writing, that they do or do not allow the merchant to sell, rent or share their information. Implemented online in the checkout process. Check a box to allow or not allow contact information (name and email and mailing address and phone number) to be rented, sold or shared with anyone before clicking 'submit order'. In a brick and mortar store, it is on the credit/debit card swipe screen before you sign. If the total cost of purchase doesn't require signing, the option is on the screen--like for your zip code. The merchant faces serious fines if they do not honor your preference. Your preference is entered into their data system every time.
