Promote a congressional committee that addresses ways to reduce and prevent mass and school shootings in the US.

Created by N.S. on June 10, 2014

In todays age there has been a drastic increase in mass shootings and violence, including many that involve schools and todays youth. This kind of senseless violence can not be allowed to continue. The government needs to take a stand and that can begin by having the President push to have Congress create a committee that specifically addresses these issues, recent actions and their causes along with how to start reducing them. The end goal is to reduce them altogether though. All means should be considered whether that is limiting video game violence, TV violence, media coverage of these events or limiting second amendment rights. The time to act is upon us and as citizens of the United States it is our duty to speak up when change is needed. You can start by signing this petition.
