Promote the deployment and advancement of Open Source Software with a nation-wide, high-profile initiative.

Created by D.P. on November 12, 2012

In this era of challenging disputes over the nature of freedoms, rights, and crimes in Information Technology: there is an alternative.

It's nothing new and has the support of a global network of experts, enthusiasts, hobbyists, major industry leaders, a handful of politicians, and a whole lot of Ordinary Joes.

A majority of these products, which range from commercial products like digital notepads and high-throughput servers to homework assignments and operating systems, are free in two ways:

Free as in free beer: They cost zero currency.
Free as in freedom: They may be copied, altered, re branded, un-branded, and distributed as you like, along with the original source code, including credits.

Reduce costs.
Promote freedom.

Advance Free and Open Source Software.
